Supporting Rural Primary Schools with provision of uniforms and shoes

As we travel around the country and visit the schools in rural districts of Bhutan, one of the most requested help is to provide school attires to the students. Supporting these children with uniforms will help ease the financial burden for their families.

 

MAD also commits to support these schools and community by providing new uniforms for all new intakes and those who outgrow their exiting sets for the next 3 to 5 years.

Each complete set of school uniform with shoes and sport attire will cost around Nu 1,800 (approx US$26).

​

Currently, we are supporting the following schools with this initiative:

- Dhur Primary School, Bumthang

- Brekha Primary School, Trashigang

- Tshogoenpa Primary School, Trashigang
